Skaftfell: Nágrannar / Neighbours: Inga Danysz (PL), Yen Noh (KR)

Nágrannar er titillinn á listamannaspjalli og upplestri sem Inga Danysz og Yen Noh standa fyrir. Eftir mánaðardvöl sem gestalistamenn í Skaftfelli munu listakonurnar deila listræni nálgun, lesa verk og sýna ýmsa muni sem vísa í stutta vist þeirra á Seyðisfirði en báðar hafa studdust við fjölbreytta miðla í vinnuferlinu; skúlptúra, gjörninga og skriftir. Yen og Inga bjóða upp á hlýlegt og umræðuvænt umhverfi í Draumhúsi, gestavinnustofu Skaftfell á Norðurgötu, föstudagskvöldið 29. sept.

Súpa, te og kaffi verða á boðstólum en gestum er einnig velkomið að koma með eigin drykki.

Neighbours is an artist talk and reading event co-organized by Yen Noh and Inga Danysz, who are current artists-in-residence at Skaftfell. Having resided in Seyðisfjörður for a month, they will share their artistic approach, read their works, and show a number of things that are relevant to their present living in Seyðisfjörður. Engaging in various media such as sculpture, performance, and writing, the artists will create a round of dialogue and warm temperature in Draumahús residency at Norðurgata.

Soup, tea and coffee will be served, and guests are also welcome to bring their own drinks.

Inga Danysz (b.1990) is an artist based in Frankfurt am Main. She studied at Cooper Union, New York and graduated from the Städelschule in Frankfurt am Main (2015). She recently graduated as an artist-in-residence at the post-graduate programme De Ateliers, Amsterdam (2015-17) and was awarded the Columbus Advancement Prize for Contemporary Art (2016).
