In October the Reykjavík City Council agreed to give an additional 8.5 million ISK to the Reykjavík Art
Museum in order to pay visual artists for their work contribution on exhibitions in 2018. SIM gives the
warmest thanks to the City of Reykjavík for respecting human rights and for being a leading force for a
better and more just society.
